Someone emailed me on Ravelry today to ask about yarn I had - but had not listed for sale. Usually I find this annoying, but instead I thought why not ? and gave her a price.
And as long as I was at it, I pulled about 20% of the yarn out of the closet and moved it to the Trade or Sell page.
If you're in a yarn buying mood - please feel free to browse and shop.
I've spent the last week pulling things out of closets and listing them for sale in the appropriate place - craig's list or hobbyist groups - god help anyone who comes into my house right now because it's full of PILES of STUFF. And yeah, I'm doing the for money because I'm not working and it's getting broker and broker out, but it's also really fun to rummage around in your past and see how your taste has changed and who you are now as versus who you were then.
Plus I'm starting to realize that the next three sweaters (ha! when did I last finish three sweaters?) I want to make are from handspun - admittedly handspun that only partially exists at this moment. I'm a different knitter than I was and a MUCH better spinner and a lot of the commercial yarn isn't a priority anymore, pretty as it is.
You can pry the cashmere from my cold dead hands though. SOME things remain constant.
